In March 1967 the New Zealand School of Dance brought together the first class of ten students to form the National School of Ballet, and it has gone from strength to strength ever since. New Zealand School of Dance: 50 Years 1967–2017 honours the renowned staff the School has attracted, as well as the students, who have made significant contributions to the dance scene both nationally and internationally as performers, choreographers and teachers.
The book is made up of two distinct parts – the compelling story of the school as told by graduate and tutor Turid Revfeim and a stunning photo essay by Stephen A’Court.
