The green and fluorescent inks on the Judy Darrah: So... You Made It? cover are so bright because they were double hit (printed twice) on the offset printing press.
Icons Ngā Taonga was conceived as Te Papa’s flagship book on the collection. Every spread was designed prior to the photographs being taken so they could be composed to perfectly fit on the page. The text was also written to length to fill the allowed space exactly.
Eagle’s Complete Trees and Shrubs of New Zealand was awarded best book at the PANZ Book Awards.
Art at Te Papa was available in both flexibind and boxed & cased formats.
